If you are an animal lover, or you just want to experience a safari-like adventure, then this place is best for you! This 25-hectare zoo will give you one awesome experience. You will get a chance to have close encounter with the animals and explore the nature.
We were given this Zoobic map to guide us in our tour.
But since we were really hungry, our first target is a resto – there is one inside the zoo proper, but if you want a more affordable one, there are several ‘carinderias’ outside.
ZOOBIC PARK and SERPENTERIUM.
Here’s the ZOO TRAM used to tour around the zoo, but you may also use your personal car
LION AND TIGER ENCOUNTER
And yes, this is my favorite — the TIGER CLOSE ENCOUNTER! As much as I really wanted to touch the tiger, they don’t allow me to.
CROCO LOCO
If you’re planning to visit, here’s to give you idea with the fees 🙂
Thank you for reading! Share your Zoobic Safari experience at the comment section.
It’s our first travel for the year, and our first time to try “package tour” (courtesy of Hangsaya Travel and Tours) 😊
Hangsaya Travel and Tours (https://m.facebook.com/Hangsayaphilippines) – P1,950 per person
Inclusions:
●Car transfer
●Regular ticket to Hot Air Balloon Festival
●Entrance ticket to Zoobic Safari or Ocean Adventure
●Side trip to Subic light house and Dutyfree
We booked February 14 tour.
We left Mcdo Mindanao Ave (starting point) at 2:30 A.M. and arrived at Pampanga at around 3:45 A.M. with our driver/coordinator Carlo. We were given until 8:00 A.M. to enjoy the event.
(This will a bit sound like a “complain” but I hope the management of the event will be able to read this so that they can improve the system the following years)
We were surprised with the more-than-5-minute-walk-long line! We never expected that the line for entrance will be that long! No marshalls to assist, no signages on where-to’s..kumbaga, “sariling sikap”. More than 5 people approached us asking the lines for those with ticket, where to buy ticket, etc. It took us 2 hours in the line 😑
-end of rant- AHAHAHAHA! 😂
At the area, there are around 50 concessionaires (food, souvenirs etc) BUT, better if you bring your own food – (long lines in every booth), and several portalets provided for male and female.
There’s an Airforce area where you can take a picture holding firearms, guns (wasn’t able to take photos); and several types of aircrafts were also displayed.
Aside from the main event, which is the hot air balloon show, there are also paragliders joining the balloons up in the sky ⛅
Yay! Here are the hot air balloons ready to flyyyy 😀
Wondering how hot air balloon works?
And these are the beautiful hot air balloon in the sky.. so cute!
Next stop is our Zoobic Safari adventure on my next post 🐏🐄🐂🐃🐮🐍🐒
Hey, guys! This is just a short blog. I’d just like to share to you my Seafood Island experience. I hope this could somehow give idea to those who are planning to visit the place. Enjoy!
Boodle fight is a military style of eating where food is prepared on top of the table (banana leaves are usually used to cover the table), and to be eaten using bare hands.
Seafood Island is one of the restaurants here in the metro that offers ala‘boodle fight’ dining. I’ve already seen several posts and reviews about Seafood Island (some are negative comments so we never considered dining here) – it’s only this time that I got to try this (thanks to my officemate for her birthday treat :D)
We visited their TriNoMa branch:
Located at GROUND FLOOR, GARDEN WING

For you to have idea on their menu and prices, take a look at their menu:
We ordered Tali Beach and Dagupan Festival good for 5-6 persons.
We are 10, so 5 per set. I don’t know if the food is just “enough” or we’re just too hungry that we finished it in (estimate of) less than 30 minutes. Hihi 😀
Oops! And yeah, service is good.. food is good. I love the java rice and the barbecue, it’s just the bangus daing is not boneless (huhu).
Here are other branches of Seafood Island:

Have you met Rita? or should I ask, have you tasted Rita’s? Well me, I just did!
Have you met Rita? or should I ask, have you tasted Rita’s? Well me, I just did!
Oops, before you think of anything else *giggles*, I’ll introduce you to the most talked bout “Rita” in town…the RITA’S ITALIAN ICE CUSTARD!
I’ve been seeing posts about Rita’s Italian Ice Custard these past few months, and I, being a super duper certified ice cream lover, really want to try it.
Of all its branches in the Philippines (the other is in V-mall, Greenhills – and I don’t know if meron pa ba sa iba), we decided to visit the nearer branch to us which is in UP Town Center.
UP Town Center is a good place to visit especially when you want not to be in a really crowded mall. There are lots of restaurants to choose from. The open-air area infront is a good place for “tambayan”, with few lights around which makes you feel safe(r).
Rita’s is located at the 3rd floor, right side (madali lang makita), near Wing Stop. The store is quite small (too small for the number of people waiting for their orders – masikiiip :P). There are around 3-4 tables in al fresco area and around 4-6 inside the mall.
Here’s for you to have idea with their menu and prices:
They offer different flavors of custard: CHOCOLATE, COFFEE, LIGHT VANILLA, VANILLA and twist (mixed); ICE, and list of toppings.
You can have a ‘free taste’ of the ICE flavors to help you choose
We had FROZEN CUSTARD (chocolate flavor topped with whip cream, chocolate syrup and chocolate chips) NOTE: the chocolate flavor of custard is really sweet, you may choose not-so-sweet toppings to balance the taste;
(This is chocolate custard! The white thing is whipped cream toppings :D)
and GELATI (cookie dough ICE flavor topped with chocolate custard).
Ready to go! 🙂
THE TASTE IS REALLY REALLY GOOD! HEAVEN! I swear! It looks like a regular sundae but the taste and texture of custard is like ice cream (oh, how will I explain T_T). You understand this if you noticed the difference of the taste and texture of a sundae vs a real ice cream. HAHAHA!
We’ve been wanting to try Ace Water Spa since the first time we’ve heard about it. I can’t remember who, but somebody mentioned that upon entering the spa area, you need to take off your clothes including your underwear…everything! – the reason why we became hesitant of visiting the place. Well my mistake was, after that, I didn’t bother myself to check the internet about Ace Water Spa’s reviews or even the website.
For my birthday, boyfriend and I were planning to try something new and stress-relieving then we came to the idea of visiting a spa. So after some months, I tried to reconsider ACE WATER SPA.
I checked their website and even read blogs about it. Whaaa! The idea of being naked in the spa area is not true! HAHAHAHA! Ba’t naman kasi naniwala ako noon -_- Well, it might happen in some countries kasi… soooo.. HAHAHA okayyy moving on 😀

According to reviews, they strictly implement their ‘dresscode’, so instead of buying there (which I heard is really pricey, around 800 something). I prefer to use the tank top (P250) paired with long cycling shorts, then for boyfriend is cycling short (P150), we bought it at Victory Mall, that is in fairness the quality is good.
Ace Water Spa 399 Del Monte Avenue (near cor. Banaue St.) SFDM, Quezon City
So we tried the nearest branch to us, which is in Quezon City.
Entrance fee is P550 for adult and P250 for kids (4ft and below). We used my ‘buy 1 take 1 coupon’ in my Belle de Jour planner. They also honor Metrodeal promos. Operating time is 6:00AM-10:00PM on Sundays to Thursdays, and 6:00AM-11:00PM on Fridays to Saturdays, open on holidays.
Cameras and phones are not allowed in the locker room and in swimming area for privacy of the guests, so most of the photos here are grabbed.
Ace Water Spa swimming attire shop
As mentioned above, just in case you forgot yours, they also sell proper swimming attire. Trunks for P450, swimsuit skirt-type for P850, 2pc swimsuit for P850, 1pc bikini for P550, kiddie swimsuit for P600.
The locker room is good. It’s clean. Shower area, toilet and dressing room are separate. They provide lockers with keys, slippers, shower cap and hair blower. There is also a bodywash liquid provided in every shower rooms (but better if you’ll bring your own soap, cause their body wash is hard to be rinsed off the skin). Make sure to bring your own towel. I was expecting them to provide shower towels, like what I’ve read in blogs, but I was wrong. HAHA. So I have no choice but to rent towels which cost P150 each.

There are several stages or different types of water massage that you can experience. Different intensity level form soft, medium to hard (and when they say hard.. it is HARD MASSAGE) intended for different parts of the body.
KID’S AREA
Kids Pool – a specially designed pool ideal for small kids. Play hide and seek in the mushroom falls as you get hit by a big water gun.
Floor Fountain – try “walking” on water as you enjoy the fountain.
Lazy River – enjoy floating around in the current that goes the entire pool while bonding with the family.
Bucket Splash – cool down in this exciting “pull the string” surprise!
SOFT MASSAGES
Bubble Bed – Lay down comfortably on the designed bubble bed to fully feel the air and bubbles emitted on the surface through small holes as it slightly beats down your back, buttocks and feet.
Bubble Pool – This facility effectively massages the temporal pressure points specifically on the back portion of the legs and hip area.
Bubble Massage – This system has an effect of “feel good all over” after bathing as air combined with warm water comes out on holes at the floor surface that massages the body.
Hydro-Acupuncture Bed – It produces the effects of acupuncture that allows a person to enjoy the pricking sensation through the use of high pressure warm water with air coming from the tiny holes within the bed surface.
MODERATE MASSAGES
Rainfall Acupuncture – It is best enjoyed when lying face down wherein million raindrops with various intensities gently massage every part of the body.
Eight Nozzle Shower – This shower is designed as an alternative way of cooling down after using the hot herbal pools, steam and sauna if you do not want to use the cold pool.
Hydro-Buoyancy Massage – This facility uses a jet driven water from the bottom that creates suppleness to build a floating sensation especially when combined with breathing exercises.
Buttocks Massage – While sitting comfortably, water pressure gushes out on the surface which hits and rubs down the buttocks.
Jet Chair – In a sitting position, water pressure gushes out directly towards the meridian points of the body to eliminate stress and at the same time loosens up tight muscles.
Jet Chair with Foot Massage – In a sitting position, water pressure gushes out directly towards the meridian points of the body while simultaneously receiving foot massage.
HARD MASSAGES
Head & Shoulder Massage – The water coming from the equipment strongly hits the upper portion of the body.
Water Falls – The surging water from the falls strikes in all parts of the body largely on the upper portion.
Multi-point Massage – The surrounding wall towers with water nozzles injects variety of water pressure that massage different parts of the body.
Chest Jet Massage – This System is best relished in a squatting position to fully feel the water pressure that strikes directly towards your chest.
Waist Jet Massage – This system uses high and low water jet nozzles that produces strong water pressure.
Upper Body Jet Massage – Rigid water pours down from the elevated jets rubbing down the upper parts of the body. This Massage system is NOT RECOMMENDED for those with osteoporosis.
High Pressure Massage – This system uses high and low water jet nozzles that produces strong water pressure.
Lavander Pool – is the hottest pool with 40 C as its temperature, while the lavander scent keeps the skin soft and smooth.
STEAM AND SAUNA
The Steam and Sauna will remove excess water and fats from the body. As you step outside in this area, the cool and misty natural fog that is sprayed in the area will surely complete this heavenly ambiance.
Cold Pool – Contrast Therapy Plunge is a special hydrotherapy experience wherein an alternate plunging into the hot herbal pools and cool pool takes place.
Lapping Pool – Approximately 25m 4-lanes swimming pool .
There is a name and description box that is found in every station that could guide you. Also, make sure not to stay longer than the suggested time for your skin not to swell. Masakit talaga lalo na sa hard massage T_T. If you have highblood, avoid the hot herbal pools, and the steam and sauna.
RAINFALL ACUPUNCTURE PHOTO NOT MINE Grabbed from: en.paperblog.com
My favorite are Rainfall Acupuncture and Waterfalls. Also, good thing they provided an area at the 2nd floor where you can take a nap and rest.
Hope this article helped you. Like. Comment. Share. 🙂
